Gorgeous 60' Staysail Schooner for sale. This is our dream sailboat we have been outfitting the last couple years to sail to Alaska and beyond, but due to wife's health, we must sell. Located in the beautiful San Juan Islands in a marina there. The perfect place to liveaboard and explore all the beauty of the Salish Sea. Slip is transferable but only from October-May, no extra costs for living aboard.

We have made a lot of upgrades, the largest being a brand new Cummins 200hp 4BTA diesel engine with 40 hours on it, sips fuel. Installed 1800 watts of solar, 800watt wind generators, weather station, new Garmin charter plotter, diesel air heaters at both sides of the boat, a wood stove in the middle - you stay plenty warm in the winter! There is an onboard northern lights 7500 kw generator. All the standing rigging was replaced in 2018, for house batteries it has eight new batteries and six older ones, and two brand new starter batteries. Installed in August a brand new Lofrans Faulkin windlass with new 300 feet of 7/16 G4 anchor chain and 110lb CQR anchor. 3000watt inverter and charger allows use of 110 outlets, there are 12v LED lights throughout the vessel - all new. New bilge pumps throughout. She has a drop down dagger board that cranks up and down in the pilot house, draws 5.5 feet up and 9.5 feet down - helps her sail beautifully.

1977 60' staysail schooner, complete enclosed pilot house that is very comfortable. Has four berths, one was turned into a tool/electrical room. Two have bunk beds, their own sink, closets, drawers, sleeping 4 total between the two rooms. The captains quarters has a king size bed with beautiful woodwork, a built in desk (this is where my wife worked from aboard),a loveseat settee and a full length settee, a lot of storage space, a place for a wood stove to go. 32" flat screen tv.

The master bathroom has a hot tub size soaking tub in it, and a spa lounger, a great working toilet, beautiful sink with brass handles, a very roomy bathroom. The bunk rooms are at the other end of the boat in the bow, they have an attached head (toilet) and separate shower in the bow of the boat, fully enclosed, no standing over a toilet. Has 800 gallon fresh water tank. 800 gallons of diesel. 80gal black water holding tanks.

We upgraded the dinette table to be full size for a family, underneath and behind the cushions is great food storage, huge pull out drawers, it has a 110 freezer but we always used it for a food pantry. There is a nice size fridge in the galley, and a propane stove/oven that works great and is new as of 2021. She has a lot of deck room. The tools on her will stay on her, and extra parts. The back deck is quite large as well, where the full solar array and wind generators are located, as well as the BBQ. The top of the pilot house has an emergency life raft. All emergency equipment on board, flares, fire extinguishers, CO alarms, fire alarms, etc.

She comes with new West Marine 11.5 foot hard bottom dinghy and 15 HP Mercury outboard. Newer tween sail with new luff tape this year. Brand new clear vinyl in the pilot house. New deck paint and hull paint this year.

This is our second ferro cement boat we have lived aboard on and we love them. They stay cool in the summer time and warm in the winter. They are quiet inside and cut through the water beautifully. Waves hit the side of the hull and roll back the other way, not sending this vessel tossing back and forth. Bomb and bullet proof. She was made with sailing the world in mind. She has sailed to Mexico and Alaska.

This vessel is Coast Guard documented and still holds its Coastwise endorsem*nts. It's also in an LLC, owned by my wife and I. You would be purchasing the LLC, which owns Mallory Todd.

This vessel used to be a charter boat, the captain, George Todd, sailed trips to Alaska and back. The last forty years it has been on Lake Union, doing charters. The captain, George Todd, also started a charity sailing cancer children's families on the healing seas. He designed the boat, had it built by Fiber Steel in California, and sailed it up to Seattle, WA to spend the next ten years hand building out all the woodwork inside. We are the third owners of Mallory Todd. If you are interested in the history, I can email you a page worth of it.

Overall she is a great sailboat. We've had no issues getting insurance, State Farm has been great to work with and are very affordable.

Great charter boat, great liveaboard, very unique floor plan.
